The large and impressive late 19th century clear glass apothecary jar retains the original stopper.   The glass is hand blown giving that wonderful translucent effect to the the glass as the ripples catch the light.    The apothecarist’s jar would have been used as a shop display and would have held coloured liquid’s to act as eye catching pieces.  In delightfully original condition free from cracks or breaks.
