An unusual 19th century painted opening board from the Oddfellows.  The society is a fraternal society, similar to the Freemason, being documented in the early 18th century but believing to date back much further to the old medieval tradesmen’s guilds.  The board has the original time worn paint and original fixings to be hung on a wall and contains the dispensation and names of Masters of the Lodge inside.

Now a super decorative piece.

Measuring:  When closed 83cm high, 63 cm wide, 10 cm deep.
